Meet the New USDA's Rural Director, Bridgette Whisenant! A Rural Development Program Alumna takes her place. She was appointed after holding previous positions as the Community Engagement Specialist for USDA and the Deputy Director of the Mississippi Delta Region Initiative. Director Whisenant believes infrastructure investments must be at the forefront to bridge the urban-rural divide and promote shared prosperity!
